As this class is small, it is suitable for absolute novices to those with some jewellery making/silversmithing skills as there will be plenty of help and guidance given if needed.

Come along to the Katy Wilkinson Jewellery studio at 1b Old Swan Yard, sit down at your own personal jewellers bench and make yourself a sterling silver sparkly gem-set stacking ring! You will have a choice of different widths and profiles of wire to make your ring band with first, which can be textured to your liking using a number of different tools and techniques. You can then choose your favourite 4mm semi-precious gemstone from a selection of colours available to set into a collet added to your ring band.

This class includes use of all tools, tuition and guidance and the materials needed to make 1 semi-precious gemstone stacking ring. Any extra materials used or required can be organised in advance or will be chargeable on the day at £2.50 per gram of silver or per gemstone.

The important stuff:

• Please arrive at least 10 mins before the workshop in order for the us to start the workshop on time and for you to go away with a beautifully finished piece of jewellery
• Tea, coffee and biscuits are included on the day
• Aprons will be provided 
• Please bring your own water bottle for your bench
• Do wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty
• Don't wear any loose fitting clothing
• Do have something to tie long hair back with
• You must enjoy yourself 😊!
