Katy Wilkinson is a designer and maker of contemporary jewellery, based in Wiltshire.

Her work reflects emotions through form and line and processes involved in its production.

Her unique style is complimented by the use of a laser welder for the production of the collection 'Frustration', without which her lightweight stainless steel and 18ct gold wire structures could not be created.

The 'Patience' collection involves multiple and repetitive tasks to create the final product. Their forms suggest the need for Patience due to intricate and elaborate embellishment but at the same time are organic.

In July 2006 as part of winning the Marketing Birmingham's jewellery student of the year award, Katy had the opportunity to have her work modelled on the supermodel Erin O'Connor.
